0.025mm finest draw — 17 reduction passes from 8mm rod through tungsten carbide dies, laser micrometer on every pass. ±0.003mm tolerance on wire ≤0.1mm. The Ni200 vs Ni201 decision matters more than anything else in your lead wire spec. Ni200 (0.15% C max): fine below 80°C, where carbide precipitation stays undetectable for 40,000+ hours. Use it for bus-bar connections that never touch electrolyte. Ni201 (0.02% C max): mandatory for any wire immersed in KOH above 80°C. The carbon difference determines whether your leads last 40,000 or 60,000+ hours — we've sectioned failed Ni200 leads from a 42,000h teardown and mapped grain-boundary corrosion networks under SEM. Ni201 doesn't have the carbon to fuel that reaction. Temper: annealed (≥30% elongation), quarter-hard, hard-drawn. Surface: bright annealed, oxidized (~8% cheaper), or as-drawn. 3kg spools to 250kg drums. ASTM B162, EN 10204 3.1 cert shipped with every order.
